Northern Unit of Evora-Beja-Aracena Massif, Southern Ossa Morena Zone, Iberian Massif, SW Spain.
Greenschist facies (paragenesis 1)) volcanosedimentary metatuffs, metabasites, metacinerites, carbonate rocks.
Diorite intrusion developing a thermometamorphic aureole (400-500°C) (paragenesis 2)).
The mineralogy of three different types of formation is especially interesting: Silicate rocks with hematite, carbonate rocks with hematite-rich pelite beds and carbonate rocks with braunite nodules.
