The floor is a Bathonian limestone, irregularly dolomitized and showing authigenic recrystallized quartz ; the limestone also contains goethite, illite, kaolinite and organic matter.
The bauxite deposit begins at the floor by a clay deposit.
The main component of bauxite is boehmite.
The bauxite deposit ends at the roof by grey clays and black flint-clays.
The roof is a Campanian fluvio-lacustrine sediment.
The clays are rich in kaolinite, illite and a regular interstratified (mixed-layer) illite/vermiculite phase.
