A Au prospect located in sec. 10, T5N, R11E, MDM, about 4 km S of Scottsville, N of the Mokelumne River and E of Black Gulch, on private land. Property consisted of a 9 acre claim. Operated by Charles A. McKinney. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Possibly the same as the McKinney and Crannis in secs. 10 & 15.
Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings.
