Ione City Mine, Sunnybrook, Pardee District, Amador Co., California, USA

A former Cu occurrence/mine located in secs. 3 & 4, T5N, R10E, MDM, 3.7 km (2.3 miles) S of Sunnybrook and about 7 km SE of Ione, at the confluence of Mountain Spring Creek and Jackson Creek, on private land. Operated by Pearl T. Fye. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This locality may now be inundated beneath a reservoir.

Mineralization is hosted in amphibolite and schist. No iron capping. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings.
