A Au occurrence/claim located in sec. 20, T7N, R13E, MDM, 1.7 km (1.0 mile) NNE of Pioneer on the divide between Pioneer Creek and Misery Creek, on private land. Operated by W.T. Kneen. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Apparently this was once one of the claims of the one Willow group.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
