A former Cr mine located in the SE¼ sec. 16, T15N, R2E, HM, 1.4 km (4,600 feet) N of Little Rattlesnake Mountain. Site is situated between the mountain and the South Fork Smith River.

Mineralization is hosted in dunite.

Local structures include Little Rattlesnake Mountain, which apparently occupies the crest of an anticline.
