Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate and mica schist. The ore body is 0.3 meter wide. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 500, 80 & 150 foot long crosscut adits and drifts. Ore was treated in a 2-stamp mill.
