A former lode Au mine located in secs. 32, 33 & in the N½SW¼ sec. 34, T3N, R13E, MDM, 0.6 km (0.3 mile) NW of the coordinates of record for Angels Camp (in the middle of the city). Operated during the period 1896 to 1900, and during 1921. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in amphibolite. The ore body strikes NW and dips NE at a thickness of 6.1 meters. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 1,350 feet, comprised of a N shaft of the same depth and a S shaft of 350 feet depth., with crosscuts.
