A former lode Au mine located in secs. 15 & 16, T4N, R11E, MDM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile) SSE of Toyon (4½ miles W of San Andreas). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains) and/or Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 201.17 meters and an overall depth of 18.29 meters, and comprised of a 600 foot adit and a 60 foot shaft.
