A former lode Au mine located in sec. 11, T6N, R13E, MDM, 0.8 km (0.5 mile) SSW of Bummerville and 1.7 km (1.1 miles) ESE of West Point (on Bummerville Ridge). Operated in the 1880's, 1914, the early 1930's, 1941, and during the period 1947 to 1949. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granodiorite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a shaft.
