A placer Ag occurrence/mine located in sec. 4, T4N, R10E, MDM, 2.5 km (1.5 miles) W of Campo Seco, along the Mokelumne River. Operated during the period April 1940 to April 1941. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings included a non-floating washing plant operated during the period April 1940 to April 1941.

Production was some 50,000 cubic yards of gravel which yielded 659 ounces of Ag (1940).
