A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼ (estimated) sec. 13, T4N, R11E, MDM, 3.3 km (2.0 miles) W of San Andreas. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in greenstone and slate. The ore body strikes NW and dips NE. The vein is 2 feet thick. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openingsm comprised of a shallow shaft and a 50 foot adit.
