A former lode Au-Cu mine located in the NE¼ sec. 11 & NW¼ sec. 12, T1N, R11E, MDM, 2.5 km (1.6 miles) NE of Telegraph City, S of Boucher Mountain (5 miles SW of Copperopolis). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in greenstone and talcose schist. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 75SW. The vein is 5 feet thick. Sulfides are abundant in the vein and in adjacent wall rock. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 121.92 meters, and comprised of a 400 foot shaft with levels at 100 foot intervals.

Production data are found in: Clark, Wm. B. & P.A. Lydon (1962).

Copper cement may have been produced after the 1870's. The ore yielded $25 to $40 (period values) per ton.
