An asbestos prospect located in the S½ sec. 32, T1N, R1E, MDM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile; 4,800 feet) SE of North Peak (coordinates of record), along the S canyon wall of Perkins Canyon, on state-owned land (Mount Diablo State Park). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).
