A former stone (dimension primarily/crushed/broken) quarry located in sec. 21, T18N, R6W, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) SSE of Salt Spring, along Little Stony Creek, near the Colusa County line. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a marble deposit. A ledge outcrops along the E side of Little Stony Creek. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 2 (Coast Ranges).
