A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 15, T6N, R4E, HM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) NNE of Horse Mountain, on/near the East Fork of Willow Creek, about 1,000 feet S of the confluence with Willow Creek main channel, on National Forest land.
Local rocks are Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
