A former clay deposit/pit operation located in the SE¼NE¼ sec. 14, T16S, R9E, SBM, . MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 250 meters.

NOTE: The geographic coordinates provided by MRDS for this locality placed it in San Diego County. The error was 1 degree of longitude (115° versus 116°), and was corrected accordingly.

Mineralization is a sedimentary clay deposit hosted in the Borrego Formation. The ore body is bedded. Local rocks include Pliocene marine rocks and/or Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 2 (Peninsular Ranges).

Local geologic structures strike N60-80E and dip 10-20SW.

Workings include surface openings comprised of shallow open cuts.
