A W-garnet (abrasive) prospect located 8.4 km (5.2 miles) S of Ocotillo.
Mineralization is a W deposit (Deposit model: 42: W skarn) hosted in tonalite with associated quartzite and schist. The ore body strikes N15W and dips 30-60NE. Ore control was a pluton contact.
Workings include 2 prospect pits.
Analysis of an actinolite-rich grab sample - 0.19% WO3. Another chip sample contained 0.01% WO3.
