Ashford Mine (Golden Treasure Mine), Shoshone, Saratoga District (Tecopa Mountain District; Shoshone District ?), Black Mts, Death Valley, Inyo Co., California, USA

A former Au-Ag-Pb-Cu mine located in sec. 3, T21N, R3E, SBM, W of Shoshone on the W slope of the Black Mountains, E side of Death Valley near the southern border of the Death Valley National Monument.

Mineralization is hosted in gneiss.
