A B-borate occurrence/prospect located 11.6 km (7.2 miles) SE of Ryan, in the Greenwater Range. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. NOTE: The USGS MRDS database file does not provide T&R values.

Mineralization is a borate deposit hosted in rocks of the Furnace Creek Formation (tuff,clay, mud, mudstone, sandstone). Associated rocks include Greenwater Volcanics (Pliocene/Miocene basalt). Basaltic rocks are interbedded with the Furnace Creek Formation sediments. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include underground openings comprised of an adit.
