A former small W mine located in sec. 19, T19S, R41E, MDM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) ESE of Darwin in Mount Diablo, 0.2 miles S of the Fernando Mine at the bottom of a canyon. Originally owned by W.E. McCully of Darwin. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Updated description, links and position N36.26495 W117.57368 by Richard Muster, courtesy Walt Margerum.

Mineralization is a W deposit hosted in calc-hornfels and tactite. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 2 (SE California Carbonate Assemblage).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 115 foot long adit, several short adits, and several open cuts.
