A former Pb-Ag-Au-Zn mine located in sec. 23, T16S, R38E, MDM, 2.5 km (1.5 miles) SW of Cerro Gordo. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in Late Devonian limestone. The ore is in structurally controlled fractures. There are 2 veins. The San Felipe vein strikes N35W and dips 70SW. The Santa Maria vein strikes N-S and dips 60E. Recent mapping indicates that the San Felipe vein was not reached, a parallel vein was. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 5,494.63 meters. The Dellaphine tunnel was driven N70E for 8,070 feet at 6,290 feet of elevation.
Drifting on the main tunnel totals 4,783 feet. The main raise is 800 feet. Total workings from the 140, 340 & 660 levels from the main raise is 9,957 feet.

Production data are found in: Tucker, W. Burling & Reid J. Sampson (1938).

Production statistics: Year: 1926: ore: ^0.16 ounces Au; 20.8 ounces Ag; 21.61% (weight per cent) Pb. Total value was $80,146 (period values).
