A former Au mine located in the NE¼ (estimated) sec. 7, T20S, R42E, MDM, 4.1 km (2.5 miles) SSW of Lookout City, along an unnamed S-flowing tributary of Snow Canyon (1.8 miles S of Jack Gunn Spring). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Location estimated by the USGS MRDS staff f4rom location description in reference. This mine was possibly incorporated into later development under different name(s).

Mineralization is a vein deposit, with a vein 6 inches (15 cm) thick, hosted in granite. The ore body strikes E-W and dips 85S at a thickness of 0.15 meter. The ore was described as rich. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a partly stoped 50 foot adit.
