A silica occurrence located in sec. 28, T11S, R37E, MDM, 9.4 km (5.8 miles) SE of Wacoba Mountain (coordinates of record), on the eastern margin of the Inyo Mountains at the N end of Saline Valley, on National Park Service wilderness land (Death Valley National Park/Death Valley Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Cambrian marine rocks.
