A former Ag-Pb-Cu-Au mine located in secs. 33 & 34, T18S, R40E, MDM, 4.6 km (2.9 miles) ESE of Eagle Point (coordinates of record), at the very southern tip of the Talc City Hills (6 miles NW of Darwin; adjoins the Ruiz Mine to the NW), on National Park Service land (Death Valley National Park. Property consists of 2 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. The UTM is estimated from the description in reference. Land unsurveyed.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 3 to 4 feet in thickness, hosted in limestone and quartz monzonite. The ore body strikes N40W and dips 40SW at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 90 foot shaft, with a drift to the S on the vein for 80 feet.

Production data are found in: Goodwin, Joseph Grant (1957).

Au-Ag ore shipped in 1940, 1941 and 1947 averaged 15.3% Pb, 20 ounces Ag/ton and recoverable Cu & Au. No other production data were found.
