A dimension stone occurrence located in sec. 16, T13N, R7W, MDM, 2.4 km (7,700 feet) NW of Clear Lake (ppl), on a ranch known as the Mott Place. Operated by Mr. Charles N. Reid.
Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).
A few truckloads of this stone have been shipped. The stone used thus far has been loose chunkc from the surface. No quarry has been opened.
