MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 1,000 meters. Original record had no coordinates, so this was plotted to the middle of the state/county area per MRDS.
Associated rocks are Upper Cretaceous marine rocks, unit 1 (Upper Great Valley Sequence)and/or rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges). NOTE: The 2 MRDS files provide seemingly conflicting data regarding associated rocks.
