A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼NE¼ (estimated) sec. 14, T9S, R21E, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) SW of Mountain View Peak. Property consisted of 3 unpatented claims. The MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein a few inches to 4 feet thick. The ore body dips 30S at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 300 foot incline, a 25 foot drift, a 35 foot long tunnel and stopes. A 5-stamp stamp mill was located 2 miles distant on Fine Gold Creek.
