A former stone deposit/quarry/pit operation located in the W½ sec. 9, T1N, R5W, MDM, 0.1 km (400 feet) NE of Point Molate (coordinates of record) and 6.6 km (4.1 miles) WNW of Richmond center, on naval reservation land. Operated by Healy-Tibbets Company in the 1920's. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Stone was shipped by barge. The land is now leased by the U.S. Navy for oil storage.
Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry operation.
