A former lode Au mine located in sec. 25, T3S, R16E, MDM, about 2.2 miles SW of Buckhorn Peak, along Scotch Gulch (5 miles ESE of Coulterville). Property consisted of an unpatented claim. Operated by J. L. Tiscornia, et al. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. May be one of the developments shown in this sec. on USGS quadrangle Coulterville, California (1949).
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
