A former lode Au-Pb mine located in the NE¼NE¼ sec. 23, T3S, R18E, MDM, 7.1 km (4.4 miles) ESE of Texaas Hill, along Jenkins Hill (½ mile E of the Briceburg-Kinsley Road), on National Forest land. The property consisted of a 20 acre unpatented claim. Early history not known, reactivated 1932.
Operated during the period 1932-1934. Owned by Charles Jordan (ownership disputed in 1955). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate and schist. The ore body strikes N55W and dips 80NE at a thickness of 0.46 meter. Dikes are schistose and well-altered. Wallrocks are trocks of the Calaveras Group. An associated rock is Late Permian granite. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings with a total length of 182.88 meters and an overall depth of 18.29 meters. They are comprised of a 300 foot crosscut adit and a 300 foot drift. Developing 300 feet of backs averaging at least 50 feet high.
