A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 10, T5S, R16E, MDM, 4.3 km (2.7 miles) SE of Quartzburg and 5.6 km (3.5 miles) E of Hornitos. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include unspecified underground openings.
