A former lode Au mine located in sec. 6 (6 to 9 ?), T4S, R20E, MDM, 0.6 km (2,000 feet) WSW of Peachtree Bar, along the South Fork Merced River, just downstream from river mile 9, on National Forest land. Property consisted of 7 unpatented claims and later expanded to 46 claims. These may now be listed under other names (adit shown on N side of the river in sec. 6 may be part of the workings. Bowen & Gray list the Little Wonder under Kaderitas (http://www.mindat.org/loc-82250.html). Operated during the period 1920-1922 and probably to 1926. Operated by the Little Wonder Mines Inc. (1920-1926). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Ten men reported to have been working in 1922, but work ceased the latter part of 1926 and the company was reported to be in the process of reorganization, having passed into the hands of a receiver.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings are unspecified but it is stated that some development work was done.
