A former lode Au mine located in the NW¼ (?) sec. 6, T3S, R17E, MDM, 0.9 km (2,900 feet) NNW of Dogtown (3.5 miles E of Coulterville), on National Forest land. Property consisted of unpatented land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein/pocket deposit hosted in granite and slate. The ore body strikes E and dips 45S at a thickness of 0.38 meters. The hanging wall is granite and the footwall is slate. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 10.67 meters and an overall depth of 6.1 meters, comprised of a tunnel.
