A former lode Au mine located in the NW¼ (estimated) sec. 14, T3S, R16E, MDM, 2.3 km (7,500 feet) WNW of Virginia Point (coordinates of record), and 2.8 km (9,200 feet) ESE of Horseshoe Bend Mountain (coordinates of record), along Whites Gulch (3 miles SSE of Coulterville). Property was unpatented. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 4 to 6 feet thick, hosted in slate and serpentinite. The ore body strikes NW and dips 60NE at a thickness of 1.83 meters. The hanging wall is slate and the footwall is serpentine. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 18.29 meters and an overall depth of 9.14 meters, comprised of a tunnel.
