A former placer Au-PGE (Pt)-Hg mine located 5.8 km (3.6 miles) WSW of Oasis and 4.3 km (2.7 miles) ESE of Hopland (outside the Mayacmas Mountains).
Mineralization is a stream placer deposit (Deposit Model: 119: Placer Au-PGE), hosted in the Ione Formation (gravel).
Related tectonic structures include the California Coast Ranges.
