A W occurrence located in secs. 34 & 35, T9N, R23E, MDM, 4.7 km (2.9 miles) SE of Round Mountain and 8.0 km (5.0 miles) ENE of Coleville and 9.8 km (6.1 miles) ESE of Topaz, N of Blackwell Canyon, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in tactite. Local rocks include Cretaceous marine rocks (in part nonmarine), unit 2 (West Walker River) and/or Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Less than 10 short tons (2,000 pound each) contained W (1,261 S.T.U. WO3).

Poduction information: Up to 100 short tons of 60% WO3.
