A W occurrence located in secs. 9 & 10, T7N, R23E, MDM, 8.4 km (5.2 miles) SW of Wild Horse Mountain (coordinates of record), along the West Walker River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
