A former Hg mine located in sec. 2, T23S, R14E, MDM, 6.8 km (4.2 miles) N of Parkfield.

Mineralization is hosted in the Vinini Formation (serpentinite, carbonate rocks).

Local structures include the San Andreas Fault, NE-dipping thrust fault, and intersecting faults. Tectonic structures include the Coast Ranges.
