A former lode Au-Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu mine located in sec. 35, T16N, R8E, MDM, about ⅓ mile W of Nevada City.
Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Mariposa Formation (slate, granodiorite).
Local structures include a fault fissure.
