A former placer Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in secs. 19 & 20, T18N, R9E, MDM, 2.9 km (1.8 miles) NW of Columbia Hill (coordinates of record), along the S canyon wall of the Yuba River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
