A small mine, owned by Concord Tin Mines Ltd. (80%) and Legal & General Assurance (20%). It is located just north of Wheal Briton, with which it was amalgamated for some time under the name East Treskerby Mine (acc. to A.K. Hamilton Jenkin). The mine was worked for tin from 1823 to 1868. After 1860, it was included with the Scorrier Consols sett. In recent years, it was intermittently re-worked, but finally abandoned because of poor results.
