A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 21, T14N, R11E, MDM, 0.2 km (0.1 mile) SE of Byrds Valley (coordinates of record) and 0.6 km (0.4 mile) WSW of Michigan Bluff, on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. The geographic coordinates presented in this file were taken for the exact location of the named mine on the topo map.

Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface openings (the topo map reflects a crossed picks mine symbol).
