A former lode Au-Pb occurrence/mine located in the NE¼NW¼ & NW¼NE¼ (estimated) sec. 21, T12N, R8E, MDM, 1.8 km (1.1 mile) SSW of Auburn, on the W ridge of Baltimore Ravine, N of Dutch Ravine and S of Interstate highway 80 and the Southern Pacific Railroad. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granodiorite. The ore body strikes E and dips 45S at a thickness of 1.22 meters. The vein is 4 feet thick and carries sulfides. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 243.84 meters and an overall depth of 12.19 meters and comprised of a shaft and a tunnel (adit ?).

Assay estimated average of $8 (period values) ore/ton.
