A reported Au occurrence/? located in sec. 10, T15N, R10E, MDM, 2.7 km (1.7 miles) SE of Gold Run, on the S end of Moody Ridge (Bogus Point), on the divide between Canyon Creek and the North Fork American River. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).

NOTE: Clark (1970a) refers to this locality as the "Moody Ridge Drift" and attributes it to the Dutch Flat District; however, it is outside the designated boundaries for that district.
