An Fe occurrence/prospect located in sec. 21, T14N, R9E, MDM, 0.8 km (0.5 mile) NNW of New England Mills, along the W side of Interstate highway 80. Prospected many years ago by the Phoenix Iron and Lime Company. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Iron croppings are visible and are traceable in a NW course to the Bear River. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
