An Fe-Mn-silica occurrence located in sec. 26, T25N, R10E, MDM, 3.5 km (2.2 miles) WSW of Grizzly Peak, along the upper reaches of Taylor Creek, on patented (private) land. Operated by Terhel Farms Inc., Colusa, California (1953) and owned by Collins Pine Lumber Co., Chester, California (100.00%) (1953). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a Fe-Mn deposit. The ore body is a lenticular replacement metamorphosed body that strikes N60W and dips 65S at 20 meters thick, 45 meters wide and 457 meters long. Depth to top is 6 meters. It is of sedimentary origin, lenticular in shape. Primary ore control was bedding and secondary was lithology. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 6 (Northeastern Sierra Nevada).
