A Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 4, T26N, R8E, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) N of Seneca, along Salmon Creek, on the E bank of the North Fork Feather River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (Northeastern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings.
