A former clay (kaolin) deposit/pit operation located in the SW¼SW¼NW¼ sec. 10, T5S, R6W, SBM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) ESE of Bald Peak (coordinates of record), along Coldwater Canyon, eastern slope of the Santa Ana Mountains, just S of Glen Ivy Hot Springs, on National Forest land. Owned & operate3d by the U.S. Tile Company, Corona, California (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
