A Au prospect located in sec. 13, T2S, R12E, SBM, about 12.8 km ENE of Pinto Mountain (summit), E of San Bernardino Wash, on National Park Service land (Joshua Tree National Park). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings (the topo map reflects 1 shaft symbol and 5 prospect pit symbols in a N-S-trending line starting about 100 meters W of this point & extending S).
